The inspiration behind this reunion is to honour the memory of Kathy McCord Brooks (Jan 29, 1972 - June 12, 2008). The reunion of all of the “Bandies” was an event Kathy wanted very much to have.

From the Decatur High School Class of 1990, Kathy was in the band all through her Middle School years at Oak Park, and her High School years at Decatur High. Kathy played French Horn during Concert Season and During Marching season, Kathy was on the Flag Corps.

Rest in peace sweet girl! We will always love you very much!
